Two young SPASH graduates each received our gifts of a quilt in their school colors on the last day of classes this year. The presentation was covered on page 18 in the Portage County Gazette of 6/4/04 . HISTORY In 2002, our guild program involved reading the book, "The Quiltmaker's Gift". Along with each month of the year, we made squares that went along with the story. These are some of the quilts, and others, that were donated that year. In 2003, our guild made string quilt blocks for charity. These blocks helped all of us use scraps we just couldn't seem to find a home for. (See #21) The quilts were gorgeous. In 2004, the charity coordinator put kits together for each of us to take home and work on. We received fabric donations and put the fabrics to good use. More pictures with these as the quilts are completed. Please join us!
